Scoot Pad Expectations
Scoot Pad is a purchased program that we have implemented at the 4th grade level to provide our students with exposure or testing questions/scenarios/language that they will likely see on their MAP assessments. The premise of this program is to review concepts that we have already taught, and to provide exposure to concepts that we have yet to cover. By implementing this program we have found that our test scores have increased, as students are more familiar with other wise unfamiliar topics on their MAP assessment.
Daily Expectations:
Students are assigned 1 math and 1 ELA Scoot Pad each day
There are at least 30 minutes of IN CLASS work time for students to get this done (for the most part)
Students are expected to take their time and spend approx. 15 minutes per assignment (aiming for 80% of higher)
(I can log in and see how long is spent, what questions were incorrect etc)
Students earn "coins" in each practice to earn rewards in the classroom!
If Students are not completing their assignments, the consequences are that of an "incomplete assignment" which equals 1 ticket trader ticket crossed off.
Parents: You can sign up for a parent account to monitor your child's progress, or you can just have your student log in, and you can access their reports etc. Please let me know if you have any questions!
